Know

for your time of loss and a time to remember. When getting a
great floral arrangements there's nothing like getting the
wrong arrangement so we've provided these tips to get the most
from your floral arrangements
In a moment of loss, the most constructive for the grieving
process for something creative to commemorate the death of
someone special to do. How can you better show respect for your
own funeral flowers as design?
Here are three of the most popular designs that are used for
funeral flower arrangements and realize that stocks such as
floral foam containers and on your local flower shop.
Funeral Cross
Best for the church, perhaps next to a magnified image.
- Create a cross-shaped base with shallow plastic
containers
- Glue the floral foam plastic
- Use short-stemmed leaves or cut the stems and place the foam
on all sides to hide. I use lemon leaves or Pachysandra Ground
Cover. "
- Covering the face of the cross, complete with big white
flowers. I love Hydrangeas because of their size and fullness.
Great White Dahlias work well.
- Place focal flowers in the center where the horizontal and
vertical lines meet. You decide whether you want a simple
forest in the middle or want, as I prefer, the focal and filler
flowers diagonally across the middle of the cross draping.
Because I love red, I use red roses. And, unlike filler
flowers, I use small green leaves. Flowers you choose will
depend on the color you choose.
Round Wreath
Wreaths can be a few different ways. They can be placed at
the top of the coffin or in the foyer of the church with a
picture in the middle.
- Start with a round floral foam base (You can find these at
your local florist)
- Cover the foam completely with short-stemmed leaves. In this
case I would again for something like "Pachysandra Ground
Cover" option for its fullness, you would not place too many
pieces to achieve the desired effect. Remember, not only for
the face and the outer cover, but inside the circle too!
- Use large focal flowers to the face of the wreath. Leave
enough space between them for other flowers too. I use
something like white "Madonna Lillies".
- Use smaller flowers between. Even the red and white theme, my
favorite choice for the white lilies red roses would be used. I
want some of the same flowers in my flower arrangements used so
they look good even when they are placed together. Finish with
a few small filler flowers such as asters and Queen Anne's Lace
".
Casket flowers
The name speaks for itself. It's a nice design especially
designed to be placed on top of the coffin.
- Start by a rectangular plastic base selection.
- Attach two identical pieces of floral foam to each other (the
one above the other) with waterproof tape or wire. This
arrangement gives the height.
- Place the floral foam to the container with glue.
- Fill the edges of leaves, such as "Leather Leaf" or "Cinnamon
Fern. Use a broad leafed fern longer enough for a fuller
effect.
- You can other, smaller leaves geruik make gaps or by adding a
row of smaller leaves and ferns in the foam just above, JY can
create a dual basis. Make sure the top layer of leaves does not
completely cover the ferns.
- Place focal flowers from the middle and extend to the left
and right. I like larger flowers such as gerbera daisies or
lilies.
- Add small flowers such as carnations and / or roses in
between the larger focal flowers.
- Complete with small, delicate flowers like baby's breath
As an additional tip, make sure you know the end of the cut
flowers and leaves and you put the foam in water for a few
second week, the flowers last longer too late. A preservative
may be added to the water to soak the sponge. When you're done
with the flowers, spray it lightly with water to create fresh
and crisp.
